SMMC Slideshow Poster ("the App") is a private, single-operator tool used by its operator to prepare slideshow posts for TikTok accounts they own or manage. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

Who this applies to

The App is operated privately by one individual for their own and managed TikTok accounts. It is not a public service, does not create user accounts, and is not offered to third parties.

What the App accesses

• TikTok account authorization. With the account holder's explicit consent through TikTok's own OAuth login, the App receives an access token and refresh token for the user.info.basic and video.upload scopes. These are used only to upload slideshow content to that account's TikTok inbox as a draft.
• Slideshow images. Image files the operator has chosen are uploaded to a private cloud storage bucket so that TikTok can retrieve them during posting.

What the App does NOT do

• It does not publish or post to TikTok automatically — content is placed in the account's TikTok inbox/drafts for a human to review and post.
• It does not read, collect, or store TikTok viewer data, followers, messages, or analytics.
• It does not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties.
• It does not use the data for advertising or profiling.

How data is stored

TikTok access and refresh tokens are stored locally on the operator's own computer and are used solely to call TikTok's Content Posting API. Uploaded slideshow images reside in the operator's private cloud storage bucket. No data is stored on any public server operated by the App.

Data retention and deletion

Tokens are kept only while an account remains connected and are removed when the operator disconnects the account or deletes the local token store. Uploaded images can be deleted from the storage bucket at any time. To revoke the App's access entirely, remove it from your TikTok account settings under Security & permissions → Manage app permissions.

Third-party services

The App interacts with the TikTok Content Posting API (governed by TikTok's own privacy policy) and a cloud object-storage provider used to host slideshow images for retrieval.
